A Place for
Kids

Helping families connect with the life-changing hope of Jesus.
We’re engaging kids and empowering families.

We think church should be fun at any age, so each and every week, we use activities, music, technology and small group time to help children experience for themselves who God is and how much He loves them. Our awesome team of prepared volunteers works hard to ensure that while you’re enjoying your worship experience, your kids are learning about Jesus on their level in age-appropriate environments.

EARLY CHILDHOOD
Birth-Pre K

Children from birth through pre-K can check in and go directly to their age-appropriate classrooms, where they’ll enjoy a safe, loving environment to play, sing, learn, and experience God’s love—cared for by our trusted team of volunteers.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Kindergraten-Grade 5

Kids in kindergarten through 5th grade start in the main service with their parents. After music, they’ll head to their own high-energy service with engaging worship and an interactive Bible lesson made just for them—your kids will love it!

FIRST-TIME FAMILIES

On your first visit, head to our Hope Kids Check-In or stop by the Connection Booth in the front lobby. You’ll be greeted by one of our friendly Hope Kids team members, who will answer any questions, collect information about you and your child, and walk your family to your child’s age-appropriate room. If you’d like to prepare for your first visit and quicken the check-in process, create your family profile in advance.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Can my kids stay with me in the service?
At Hope, we encourage families to worship together. While we believe kids will love and benefit most from their age-appropriate classrooms, we also understand that there are times little ones prefer to stay with their parents. For those moments, we offer a Family Viewing Room complete with toys for your children, a livestream of the service, and a private area for mothers. This space allows families to stay connected to the service while caring for their youngest ones in a comfortable, distraction-free environment.
What safety and security measures are in place to protect my kids?
All Hope Kids volunteers are background checked and trained to ensure your child has the safest and best experience possible. Additionally, we have a churchwide safety team in place for each worship experience.
Do you offer a mid-week program for children/families?
Yes! Hope Family Nights on Tuesdays is a mid-week gathering for families to grow in faith together—through dinner, fun, and meaningful conversation. It runs weekly from 5:30–7:00 PM (with dinner served first), and includes engaging activities for both kids (grades K-5) and parents.

Childcare is available for little ones. Anyone is welcome!  Invite your friends!  Come any time!

Do you baptize/dedicate children?
As parents, we can help point our children to Jesus, but they are the ones who, once they are old enough to understand and make a decision on their own, need to decide if they will commit their lives to Him.

At Hope Church, we wait until children are old enough to express their own decision to follow Jesus and understand the meaning of baptism before allowing them to take this step. If your child has already asked Jesus into his or her life, we encourage you to explain what baptism is and what it means, allowing them to choose to take part in this exciting step of faith. In the meantime, we encourage parents to dedicate their children to the Lord, which takes place several times each year as part of a Hope Church worship service at all locations. Be sure to check our Events Page as well as upcoming event announcements, for dates and times of the next child dedication Sunday
