Even If | Safety

Nov 2, 2025    Kyle Johnson

In this first message of our new series EVEN IF, Pastor Kyle Johnson challenges us to trust God beyond comfort and safety. Faith isn’t the absence of fear—it’s the decision to follow Jesus even when the outcome is uncertain.

From the courage of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to the faith of Stephen, Scripture reminds us that God doesn’t always keep us from the fire—but He always walks with us through it. Following Jesus isn’t always safe, but it’s always secure.

Through Deuteronomy 10, Daniel 3, and Acts 7, this message invites us to examine what we truly fear and where we find our security. When we are consumed by God, we no longer have to be consumed by fear.

Scripture: Deuteronomy 10:12; Daniel 3:17–25; Acts 7:57–59; John 21:18–19; Hebrews 13:6

Main Themes:

• Faith holds firm even when outcomes are uncertain

• True safety is found in God’s presence, not circumstances

• God meets us in the danger, not before it

• Sometimes He delivers us from the fire; sometimes He walks with us through it
