WK 1: Present with God - Day 5
Theme: Present with God
Scripture: John 15:4
“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.”
Observation:
Jesus reminds us that spiritual fruit doesn’t come from our effort alone; it actually flows from our connection to Him. Just as a branch has no life apart from the vine, we can’t thrive when we drift into self-reliance. Remaining in Christ means choosing daily closeness. By allowing His presence to shape our thoughts, decisions, and pace of life. When we stay present with God, His strength becomes our strength, His peace becomes our peace, and His life flows through every part of ours.
Prayer: Lord, help me stay present with You today. Keep me close to Your heart, being aware of Your voice, and dependent on Your strength. Remind me that I don’t have to produce fruit on my own. Amen.
Application:
Today, I will slow down and intentionally acknowledge God’s presence. Whether it's before a meeting, in a moment of stress, or during a quiet pause. I will choose one simple practice to stay connected: a short prayer, a Scripture reminder, or a moment of stillness.
